BOSTON COLLEGE IN ACC PLAY

Boston College is 71-134 (.348) in 12 seasons in the ACC.
The Eagles began conference play with an 89-84 win over top-ranked Duke on Dec. 9 at Conte Forum.
Last season, the Eagles finished with a 2-16 mark in league play.
The Eagles' best ACC mark came in its inaugural season, going 11-5 in conference play in 2005-06 en route to a third place finish.
BC finished tied for third in 2006-07 (10-6) and fourth in 2010-11 (9-7).

In conference play, Jerome Robinson is the ACC's scoring leader.
Robinson is averaging 27.0 points per game in three ACC contests.
Last time out vs. #25/25 Clemson, he scored a game-high 28 points.
At #9/9 Virginia, the junior guard scored a season-high 29 points - three short of his career-best.
Robinson tallied 24 points in the ACC opening victory over top-ranked Duke.
He is shooting 60.3% from the floor (31-51) and 61.9% from the perimeter (13-21) in conference play.

CHAT SESSION

Jordan Chatman is averaging 17.5 points over the last six games - despite going scoreless last time out vs. Clemson.
At Virginia, Chatman scored an efficient 18 points on just seven shots. He was 5-of-7 (4-5 3FG) and 4-of-4 from the FT line.
The junior guard tied his career-high with 30 points vs. Richmond, making 10-of-16 shots from the floor - including seven 3FG.
Over the last six games, the 6-5 guard has made 23-of-39 from beyond the arc - good for a 59.0% clip.
The junior from Vancouver, Wash. poured in 22 points in the win over top-ranked Duke, playing all 40 minutes.
Chatman leads the Eagles with 35 3-pointers and is third in scoring at 14.6 points per game.

THE NEW BIG THREE: PLAYING THE PERCENTAGES

Through the first seven games of the season (prior to the Nebraska game), Ky Bowman accounted for 19.9% of the offense and Jerome Robinson (19.1%), Deontae Hawkins (17.5) and Jordan Chatman (13.1) accounted for 70.0% of the BC scoring.
Since the Hartford game, Robinson (27.8), Bowman (22.7), and Chatman (22.3) account for 72.8% of the offensive output.

Ky Bowman: THE MOST CONSISTENT PLAYER IN THE COUNTRY

Ky Bowman is the only player in the country to average at least 16.1 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game.
Bowman's 6.9 boards per game average is the best nationally among players that are 6-1 or under.
Bowman is also the only player in the ACC to rank among the top 10 in scoring and assists and top 20 in rebounding.
He ranks eighth in the ACC in scoring, 16th in rebounding, and is fourth in assists.
Among the top 10 conferences (per KenPom), only six players rank among the top 10 in scoring and assists and top 20 in rebounding: Jevon Carter (WVU), Caleb Martin (Nevada), Chandler Hutchison (Boise St.), Malik Yarbrough (Illinois St.) and Peyton Aldridge (Davidson).
Prior to the Dec. 30 game at Virginia, he was the only player in the nation to have at least 10 pts/3 reb/3 asst in every game.

Jerome Robinson is averaging 11.0 points per game in the second half. He is averaging 17.9 points per game overall.
Twice this season, Robinson has had 20 or more points in the second half - vs. Richmond (21) and vs. Clemson (26).
Nik Popovic (6-11) and Luka Kraljevic (6-10) have each hit 3-pointers this season.
The last time BC had two players 6-10 or taller hit 3FG in a season was 2014-15 (Dennis Clifford, 7-0; Will Magarity, 6-11).

HIGH BOARD SCORES FOR MITCHELL

Steffon Mitchell is poised to become the sixth Boston College freshman to lead the team in rebounds/game since 1972-73.
The freshman from Shakopee, Minn. would be the fourth BC player to average better than 7.0 rebounds per game as a frosh.
The others: Ryan Anderson (2011-12, 7.4 rpg); Craig Smith (2002-03, 7.9); Danya Abrams (1993-94, 7.1).
Mitchell currently ranks 10th in the ACC in rebounding, at 7.6 boards per outing.
Anderson ranked seventh in the ACC in rebounding, while Smith was seventh and Abrams 10th in the Big East.

CHATMAN CONNECTING OVER LAST SIX

Jordan Chatman has connected on 23 of his last 39 attempts from beyond the arc - good for a 59.0% shooting percentage.
At Virginia, Chatman made 4-of-5 attempts from 3-point land. It was his fourth game with at least four 3FG during that span.
He has improved his 3FG% over the last five games by almost 15 percentage points - from 30.0% through the first eight games to 44.3% for the season.
Chatman ranks seventh in the ACC in 3-point FG percentage and is sixth in the league in 3FG made (2.33 3FG/g).

Fifteen games into his collegiate career, and Steffon Mitchell has proven to be a versatile contributor for the Eagles.
In 13 of the 15 games so far this season, Mitchell has led the team in either scoring, rebounding, assists, blocks, or steals.
Mitchell grabbed a team-best 14 rebounds vs. CCSU. He was also BC's top rebounder against Clemson, Richmond, Nebraska, Colgate, Texas Tech and Sacred Heart.
He led BC in steals in the Duke, Hartford, and S.C. State games. He was also the top assist man at Virginia and Hartford.
The 6-8 forward was the team shot blocker leader against Clemson, Virginia,Texas Tech, Nebraska, and Providence.
The Shakopee, Minn. native led BC in scoring with 21 points versus S.C State.
La Salle and Columbia are the only games this season in which he has not led Boston College in a statistical category.

DON'T CALL IT A COMEBACK

Boston College has come back from double-digit deficits en route to victory on three occasions this season.
Overall, the Eagles have trailed by 10 or more five times before coming back to tie or take the lead.
Last time out vs. Clemson, BC trailed by as many as 19 and erased an 18-point second half deficit to tie the game.
BC used an 18-5 run to come back from 12 down vs. Texas Tech to take a one-point lead in the second half.
