First Official Practice Completed

Men's basketball gets first workout in Saturday morning.
For the Boston College men's basketball team, the regular season has begun. Today the team took to the hardwood for the first official practice in Power Gym.
The Eagles head coach Jim Christian was lively and upbeat while running the players through practice drills, defense and offensive sets.
This was the first official practice of the 2017-18 season for BC. The team looked ahead of schedule due to the 10 practices the Eagles had prior to the trip they took to the Bahamas in August.
Boston College returns the exciting back court duo of junior Jerome Robinson and sophomore Ky Bowman along with sophomore forward Nik Popovic and junior Jordan Chatman. Junior Ervins Meznieks, sophomore Mike Sagay and red shirt sophomore Johncarlos Reyes are also back for the maroon and gold.
BC added five players including transfer Deontae Hawkins from Illinois State along with four rookies – guard Avery Wilson, forward Vin Baker, Jr., forward Luka Kraljevic and forward Steffon Mitchell.
The Eagles will open the season on Friday, Nov. 10 against Maine at 7:30 in Conte Forum.
