Boston College Head Coach Jim Christian
On Bowman's performance…
"There's not much more (he can do). He's been very, very consistent. He was 5-for-11 from three tonight. I thought in the second half he should have shot more balls. Because sometimes when you make plays and some of the other guys are struggling in stretches, he has to say, 'OK, they're struggling, but I have to try and be more aggressive.' That's not easy, but we're trying to win the game. He took good shots."
Â
What do you say to your team at halftime when you're up by 10? How do you retain that going into the second half?
"You know they're going to make a run. You just have to point out the things we did really, really well and the things that we didn't do well. You know they're going to make a run and we have to be ready for it. I thought we actually handled that run pretty well. They got on a little bit of a run and they answered back. We missed a couple key free throws. Those are momentum plays that you have to just make."

Notre Dame Head Coach Mike Brey
On the challenges Boston College brings…
"We are really fortunate to get out of here with a win. I thought Boston College played fabulously. In the first half, we just could not guard them. They really have good, young perimeter guys. Jimmy's building this thing with good, young perimeter guys."
Â
On BC using a similar model to Notre Dame in building a program…
"I think they're in that process. They have really good, gifted young perimeter guys who are going to grow with this program. Now they're going to add some bigs. That's the continuity you have to have at a Notre Dame and a Boston College given our academics and our requirements. I think it's the best way to build it and I think Jimmy is on his way to doing it with a very gifted perimeter, which we couldn't guard tonight. We were very lucky to get out of here with a win."
