- Neither team had a lead larger than four points in the first half. Ryan Roach hit a 3-pointer for Stonehill to give it a 32-28 lead with 5:07 left in the half.
- From there, Boston College went on a 10-2 run over the next five minutes to take a 38-34 lead and led, 40-37, at the break.
- After Stonehill scored the first bucket of the second half, BC went on a 10-2 run to take a 50-41 lead at the 14:40 mark. Sophomore Jordan Chatman capped the run with a 3-pointer.
- The Skyhawks chipped away with a 22-13 scoring stretch to tie it up, 63-63, with 5:48 to go.
- The Eagles responded by scoring nine of the next 12 points to build a 72-66 lead and held on the rest of the way.
