YOUTH MOVEMENT
⢠There are eight newcomers on the Boston College team, including seven freshmen.
⢠Eli Carter is a graduate student who played at Rutgers and Florida before coming to The Heights. He is already a career 1,000-point scorer.

⢠Syracuse sports a league-high eight freshmen on its roster.
THE LEADERS
⢠Graduate student Eli Carter and senior Dennis Clifford are a pair of fifth-year players that bring a lot of experience to a young team.
⢠Carter began his career at Rutgers where he stormed onto the scene to lead the team in scoring as a freshman and sophomore.
⢠He averaged 13.8 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists as a freshman and then increased his scoring to 14.9 points as a sophomore before breaking his leg.
⢠The Paterson, N.J., product elected to transfer to Florida after Mike Rice was fired and was eligible to play immediately. His injury nagged him, though, and he could only play seven games in Gainesville in 2013-14 before receiving a medical redshirt.
⢠Carter returned last year and averaged 8.8 points per game in 28 games last season for Billy Donovan.
⢠Clifford suffered from chronic knee issues in 2012-13 and 2013-14 which limited his time on the court, but he was fully healthy last season and played in 31 games with 28 starts.
⢠He averaged 6.9 points and 5.5 rebounds last year in his first healthy season since he was a freshman. Clifford received a medical redshirt in the 2013-14 season.
