Jermaine Blackmon Jr. begins his fourth season as a member of the Boston College men's basketball staff and the third as the team's video coordinator. Blackmon Jr. served as a graduate manager with the Eagles during the 2021-22 season.
Prior to arriving at BC, Blackmon spent the previous two seasons as the video coordinator at his alma mater - the College of Charleston. A two-year student manager for the Cougars under head coach Earl Grant, he earned a spot on the team as a walk-on during his junior and senior seasons.
As a senior during the 2018-19 season, Blackmon Jr. served as bench captain. He played in four career games and was a member of the 2018 CAA Championship and NCAA Tournament squad.

A 2019 graduate of the College of Charleston, he earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration. Blackmon Jr. is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He earned his masters degree in sports administration from Boston College in 2022.

Originally from Charlotte, N.C., Blackmon Jr. was a three-sport athlete in football, basketball and golf at Davidson Day School in Davidson, N.C. On the court, he helped lead the Patriots to a 25-6 overall record during his senior year of high school. The team also reached the state quarterfinals three times during his prep career.
