Boston College is having a fantastic 2025 NFL Draft so far.
Donovan Ezeiruaku - Dallas Cowboys (press release)
- Ezeiruaku became the first Eagle to go in the second round since AJ Dillon (62nd overall) went to the Green Bay Packers in 2020
- Ezeiruaku becomes the highest defensive draft pick for BC since Harold Landry (41st overall) went to the Tennessee Titans in 2018
- Ezeiruaku becomes the first Boston College player to be drafted by the Dallas Cowboys since OT James Marten in 2007 (3rd round, 67th overall)
Ozzy Trapilo - Chicago Bears (press release)
- Trapilo was the highest draft pick for a BC offensive lineman since 2022, when Zion Johnson went in the first round to the L.A. Chargers (17th overall pick)
- Trapilo is the first BC player to be drafted by the Chicago Bears since Josh Beekman was selected in the fourth round of the 2007 NFL Draft (130th overall pick)
- Trapilo's late father Steve was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the 1987 NFL Draft (4th round, 96th overall pick) and played four seasons in the NFL.
Drew Kendall - Philadelphia Eagles (press release)
- Kendall is the 15th Boston College player to be drafted by Philadelphia and is the first since Brian Mihalik in 2015 (7th round, 237th overall)
- Kendall is the first BC center drafted since 2015 (Andy Gallik, Tennessee) and the fifth center drafted since the NFL moved to a seven-round format in 1994
- Kendall's father Pete was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the first round (21st overall pick) in the 1996 NFL Draft.

- On Friday night, BC saw its 225th and 226th all-time NFL Draft picks announced - both coming in the second round. Â Donovan Ezeiruaku was selected with the 44th overall pick by the Dallas Cowboys, while Ozzy Trapilo was selected with the 56th overall pick by the Chicago Bears.
- During Saturday's fifth round, Drew Kendall was selected by the defending Super Bowl Championship Philadelphia Eagles with the 168th overall pick.
- A Boston College player has heard his name called at the NFL Draft for 11 consecutive years.
- Through the fifth round of the NFL Draft on Saturday afternoon, Boston College is one of 21 teams - and one of only four ACC teams - with at least three players drafted. Â Entering Saturday's final four rounds, BC was one of 17 schools in the nation - and one of two in the ACC (Miami) - to have at least two picks in the opening two rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft.
- The last time Boston College had three players drafted was 2019 - Chris Lindstrom, Atlanta (1st round, 14th overall); Zach Allen, Arizona (3rd round, 65th overall); Will Harris, Detroit (3rd round, 81st overall); Tommy Sweeney, Buffalo (7th round, 228th overall).
- Since the NFL Draft went to a seven-round format in 1994, Boston College has had three or more players drafted on 10 occasions.
- Over the last decade, BC has had at least three players drafted on four occasions (2025, 2019, 2018, 2015) and at least two players on eight occasions (2025, 2024, 2021, 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015)
- With Ezeiruaku and Trapilo, it marked the 21st and 22nd time that an Eagle was selected in the second round of the NFL Draft. Â The last time Boston College had two players drafted within the first two rounds of the NFL Draft came in 2009 - B.J. Raji - Green Bay (1st round, ninth overall); Ron Brace - New England (2nd round, 40th overall). Â Since 1994, Boston College has had 21 players picked among the top two rounds.
- Kendall became the 13th Eagle - and the first BC player since Matt Milano was picked by Buffalo in 2017 - to be selected in the fifth round.
- With the selection of Trapilo and Kendall, four Boston College offensive lineman in the last four years - and five OL in the last six years - have heard their names called at the NFL Draft.
- Over the last 10 drafts, seven Eagles offensive linemen have been drafted; since the NFL went to a seven-round format in 1994, BC has had 22 O-Linemen drafted
