Mike Gambino, Head Coach
Mike Gambino, a former Eagle himself, was named head coach of Boston College Baseball on July 19, 2010. He has been the first in program history to bring the Eagles to the NCAA tournament in 2016 and consecutive ACC Championship appearances. Since 2016, BC Baseball has appeared in three of four ACC tournaments -- a first since joining the league in 2006. Gambino instills Birdball core values within his team: character, toughness, and class.
Alex Trezza, Associate Head Coach
Alex Trezza, the program's pitching and catching coach, joined the BC Baseball coaching staff in July 2016. A Stony Brook alumni, Trezza was drafted in the 18th round of the 2004 MLB Draft by the Detroit Tigers. He began his coaching career at Anna Maria College in 2009, and moved on to work with several collegiate baseball teams. Trezza came to the Heights with eight years of coaching experience and twelve years in his professional playing career. Throughout his time as a collegiate coach, Trezza has helped guide 10 pitchers to the MLB, 6 of which hailed from Boston College.

Greg Sullivan, Assistant Coach
Greg Sullivan is beginning his eleventh season as Assistant Coach to the Eagles, and works closely in developing outfielders and running the Boston College Baseball camps. Prior to coming to the Heights, Sullivan spent four seasons at Newbury College laying the groundwork for the baseball program as its first head coach. Throughout his time with the Eagles, Sullivan has coached outfielders such as Donovan Casey and Chris Shaw into the MLB and has significantly developed the BC Baseball camps.
John Murphy, Assistant Coach
John Murphy is beginning his fourth season as the Assistant Coach with the BC Eagles. A Sacred Heart graduate, he was drafted in the sixth round of the 2013 MLB Draft by the New York Yankees and debuted his coaching career with Boston College. He was a part of the program during the 2016 and 2017 seasons before working as the assistant coach at Army West Point, and returned to the Eagles in January 2019. Murphy is integral to the program through his involvement in recruitment, work with infielders, and hitters and video analysis.
