Boston College Athletics
BC vs. Notre Dame at Fenway Park 2015
The Eagles will face the Irish in an away football game on November 21, 2015
The following ticket distribution system was created with the goal of granting access to the greatest number of Boston College supporters, while also ensuring we are able to generate essential revenue in support of BC student-athletes and reward athletic donors who have gone above and beyond for BC Athletics. Supporters of Boston College Athletics may qualify for access to tickets in one of three ways*:
- Annual Giving to Athletics:Â Tickets will be allocated in descending order of donation based on Athletics giving for the 2015 fiscal year (June 1, 2014-May 31, 2015). As we anticipate high demand for this event, the initial minimum donation to be eligible to request seats will be $5,000. Please note that requests will not be guaranteed until the fiscal year is complete and we have collected all requests. Should demand exceed supply, access within a giving level (i.e. two people giving at $5,000) will be prioritized by lifetime giving to athletics in descending order.
- Lifetime Giving to Athletics:Â For active donors giving less than $5,000 in fiscal year 2015, two tickets will be allocated to those that have built a lifetime giving history to Athletics of $100,000 or more.
- Season Ticket Lottery:Â All season ticket holders purchasing their tickets by May 31, 2015 will be entered into a lottery for a chance to be selected to purchase two tickets. Each winner may only be selected once.
A bonus number of tickets on top of the initial offer will be allotted to those donors making a major gift commitment of $100,000 or more in fiscal years 2011-14 with an additional bonus for a new gift commitment in fiscal year 2015. Ticket quantities vary based on the size of one's gift, defined in the chart below.

*Those that qualify in more than one of the three base categories will fall under the condition granting the greatest allotment of tickets. For example, if you make a $10,000 gift to Athletics in fiscal year 2015 and have obtained lifetime giving to Athletics of $100,000, you will have the ability to purchase three tickets.
Ticket Prices:Â Tickets are $400 per seat. The price includes a seat license per ticket, which will be recorded as a gift to the Flynn Fund, of which a portion will be tax deductible. The seat license will not fulfill previous commitments or donor-based seating/parking requirements.
FAQ's
1. How many tickets will be available to Boston College?
Notre Dame has elected to play what would otherwise be a home game in South Bend at Fenway Park. Boston College, being the away team, will have access to the standard number of tickets for an away opponent - set by the ACC - of 5,000. The full allotment of 5,000 tickets will not entirely be available to fans as Boston College Athletics must work with several internal partners. The allotment will also accommodate current football players and football staff, BC students, as well as alumni and friends of the University supporting the Athletics Department.
2. Will students have the opportunity to access tickets?Â
Yes. We have designated a portion our ticket allotment for students. Student tickets will not hold a seat license.
3. How does the lottery work?Â
Each season ticket holder who has purchased or renewed his/her season tickets by May 31, 2015 is allowed one entry per season ticket. In order to maximize the number of winners, season ticket holders can only be selected once from the lottery and are granted the opportunity to purchase a maximum of two tickets to the ND-BC game.
4. When do I need to make my gift to qualify?
To qualify, your gift to Athletics must be given in fiscal year 2015: June 1, 2014 to May 31, 2015. This is a hard deadline.
5. When is the deadline to request tickets?
The deadline for ticket requests is the same as the donation deadline; May 31, 2015. This is a hard deadline.
6. Are there options to purchase suites or club seating?
All premium seating is controlled by Fenway Park. Boston College does not have access to suites or any club amenities.
7. Is the seat license tax deductible?
Your seat license will be recorded as a gift to the Flynn Fund. Gifts for donor-based seating are 80 percent tax deductible according to IRS regulations. Please consult with IRS regulations or your tax advisor.
8. Will there be any other events for BC fans who cannot go to the game?
Yes. BC Athletics, in conjunction with the Office of Student Affairs and the Alumni Association, will be hosting a watch event at the House of Blues on Landsdowne Street, across the street from Fenway Park, during the game. Full event details and registration information will be announced in the near future.
