Eagles Finish First Round of UConn Invitational

HAMPDEN, Mass. – The Boston College men's golf team sits at 10-over par (298) after the first round at the UConn Invitational at Greathorse. The Eagles sit 10 strokes behind the leaders and host UConn, currently tied for fourth with FDU.
Junior Markus Lam leads Boston College, sitting in second place at 2-under par after shooting a 70 in the opening round. Junior Ben Paylor shot an opening round score of 74, currently tied for 19th place, and senior Jack Pogorelc is right behind at 3-over par (75) in a tie for 29th place.
Freshman Connor Chisum, playing as an individual, is tied for third place at 1-under par after logging four birdies. He sits as the highest-ranking individual player in the field.
The Eagles will tee off the second round on the first hole with FDU and Providence, beginning at 9:20 a.m.
