Hong, Lam Named to 2025 PING All-Region Team

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Two members of the Boston College men's golf team were named to the 2025 Division I PING All-Region teams, announced this afternoon by the Golf Coaches Association of America. Players across six regions and 82 schools earned the prestigious honor.

Ben Hong and Markus Lam were among the 25 players from the Northeast - and 29 from the ACC - to receive the prestigious honor. A total of 150 golfers from six different regions around the country were selected.

Hong finished the 2024-25 campaign with an adjusted scoring average of 71.7 through 27 rounds of play. The senior earned two victories on the season - capturing the Red Bandanna Invitational in a playoff over Lam to open the fall season and the Shark Invitational during the spring. Hong registered three top three finishes, and six top 15 finishes.

Lam posted a 72.1 adjusted scoring average in 27 rounds between the fall and spring slates. He opened the fall with a pair of runner-up finishes at the Red Bandanna Invitational and the Bryan National Collegiate. Lam posted three top 15 finishes and five top 25 finishes during the 2024-25 seasons.
