BC in Ninth Place after Day One at City of Oaks Collegiate

Cynthia Zhang tied for 10th place after opening two rounds of play
RALEIGH, N.C. -- Through 36 holes of play, Boston College sits in ninth place at the City of Oaks Collegiate, held at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course on the campus of N.C. State.
The Eagles totaled 622 for the two rounds on Friday, registering consecutive team totals of 311. Â Only 11 strokes separate fourth and ninth place on a highly competitive team leaderboard.
Cynthia Zhang leads the way for BC through the opening two rounds, tying for 10th place overall (150). She opened with a 76 during Friday morning's round, concluding with a 2-over 74 during the afternoon session.
Frances Kim is tied for 23rd place (154), posting a pair of 77's during Friday's two rounds of competition. Angel Lin (77-80=157) currently sits in a tie for 33rd place.
Ana Lucia Trevino (83-80=163) and Stephany Kim (81-82=163) are tied for 62nd place. Â Emily Böhrer, competing as an individual, is tied for 73rd place (84-81=165).
BC concludes play in the City of Oaks Collegiate on Saturday morning, starting on the 10th hole with tee times commencing at 8 a.m.Â
