Swimming & Diving Earns CSCAA Scholar All-America Team Honors

Men's and Women's teams honored by the CSCAA on Monday afternoon
RICHMOND, Va. – The Boston College Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving teams were named Scholar All-America Teams for the Fall 2024 semester as announced by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) on Monday afternoon.Â
Boston College Women's Swimming & Diving team earned a 2024 fall semester team GPA of 3.52, while the Men's team compiled a team GPA of 3.37.Â
To earn the recognition, teams needed to achieve a grade point average above 3.0 during the Fall 2024 semester. Boston College is among the 781 teams honored across Division I, II, and III, while Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving were also two of the 654 teams with a 3.30 or higher GPA.Â
Boston College Swimming & Diving is led by first-year head coach, Dara Torres, and her staff of Bruno Darzi, Craig Dolloff, Taylor McKnight, and Chris Morgan. The Eagles roster consists of 52 athletes, including 18 seniors. Jack Doyle, Christian Perez-mari, Kelly Scott, and Samantha Smith lead the Eagles as the four captains.Â
The Eagles will wrap up the regular season with the BU Winter Open on Feb. 7 and 8, before traveling to Greensboro, N.C. for ACC Championships on Feb 18-22.Â
