
Women's Tennis Announces Leyden Games to Incoming Class

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College women's tennis head coach Nigel Bentley has announced the addition of Leyden Games to the incoming women's tennis class of 2029.
"So incredibly excited to have Leyden joining our team next year," said head coach Bentley. "She brings a wealth of experience and leadership. Her commitment and desire to compete against the best players in the country all fit in beautifully with our team culture. She is a very hard worker on the tennis courts and in the classroom and will make important contributions to the BC community. This is a great day for BC women's tennis!"

Won SoCal Open Tour 1000, Ojai Women's Championship Finalist, Gold Ball Winner of 2023 USTA National Hardcourt Championships, and multiple women's Open Championships. At USC, she recorded 11 victories her freshman year, winning the Battle of the Bay Singles Back Draw Final at Battle in the Bay. Blue Chip recruit status per Tennis Recruiting, Highest Tennis Recruiting Rating; Ranked No. 20 nationally in 2018, ranked No. 27 nationally in 2019, ranked No. 22 nationally in 2020, ranked No. 24 in 2021, 18u USTA National ranking No. 8, 18u SoCal ranking No. 2.
"Entering my final year at the University of Southern California, I knew Boston College was my top choice for both tennis and academics," said Games. "The location, school, team and coaching staff were exactly what I was looking for! I'm eager to compete for such a special institution and to battle alongside amazing teammates.
