Vassel and Bianchi Named to Third Team All-ACC Doubles

The BC duo posted a 21-6 record during the 2023-24 season
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The doubles team of Juan Jose Bianchi and Jake Vassel was named to the Third Team All-ACC Doubles, announced by the conference this afternoon.
The duo posted an impressive 21-6 overall record this season, going 11-4 at the no. 1 doubles slot during spring competition. BC's top doubles pair rose as high as eighth in the ITA Men's Doubles National Rankings, the highest national ranking in program history.
Bianchi and Vassel earned ACC Men's Doubles Team of the Week for the week of Jan. 27, helping the Eagles take the doubles point against No. 13 Duke by besting the no. 21 doubles team in the country. The pair went 5-4 in ACC play this year.
During fall action, the duo defeated the fifth-seeded Oklahoma State to advance to the ITA National Fall Championship Quarterfinals. Vassel and Bianchi also advanced to the ITA Northeast Super Regional Semifinals.
