Hannah Bilka Earns Hockey East Co-Player of the Week Honors

Hannah Bilka was named Co-Player of the Week after a record-setting five-point weekend.
AMESBURY, Mass. – Boston College forward Hannah Bilka has been named the Hockey East Co-Player of the Week, as announced on Monday by the league.

Bilka registered four assists in BC's 5-2 win at #13 Providence College on Friday and also had a goal in a 2-1 loss to #5 Northeastern in Tuesday night's Beanpot championship game for a five-point week. The senior captain also registered 13 shots on goal and three blocked shots on the week while tying for a league-best with her plus-4 rating.

The Coppell, Texas native set new career-highs in points (39) and assists (27) with her four-assist game and became just the 18th player in program history to reach 125 career points. Bilka is the first BC player to register at least 27 assists in a season since Makenna Newkirk had 28 during the 2018-19 season.

This is the seventh career Player of the Week honor for Bilka and her fourth of the season. Northeastern's Maureen Murphy was the other co-player of the week.
