Gasseau Named Hockey East Rookie of the Week

AMESBURY, Mass. – Freshman Andre Gasseau has been named the Pro Ambitions Hockey East Co-Rookie of the Week.
Gasseau registered a career-high three-point performance on Saturday night in a 3-2 overtime win over Sacred Heart at the Pioneers' new Martire Family Arena. The forward scored a shorthanded goal and collected two assists, including the primary helper on Marshall Warren's overtime winner.
The Garden Grove, California native has 12 points in 19 games this season to rank 13th among Hockey East freshmen in points per game. He has at least one point in four of his last five games and has posted three multi-point performances on the year.
