2020 Ticket Refund Policy Update
May 21, 2020 | Football, Boston College Athletics
The Boston College athletics department announced updates to its ticket refund policy for the 2020 football season.
As of today, we are cautiously optimistic that there will be football played this fall. As we always do, we will take every possible precaution to assure the health and safety of our student-athletes, coaching staff, students and fans at all of our games. We will do so in full compliance with all government regulations and will continue to rely on the advice of medical and public health professionals, keeping the safety of our student-athletes, staff and fans as our highest priority. As we continue to discuss and learn what our gameday will look like, we will communicate in an expeditious manner so that you can be comfortable making your decision to attend.
In regards to season tickets, if for any reason a game is cancelled and cannot be rescheduled this fall, or is played under a no-fans allowed condition, please be assured that you can take advantage of either of the following ticket policies:
Option 1: A full refund based off the average season ticket rate for each game missed
Option 2: An option to rollover the refund due to missed games as a credit towards your 2021 BC Football season tickets
For current season ticket holders please note that regardless of what decisions are made for the 2020 football season, we assure you that your seat location will remain the same for the 2021 season. In addition, if because of age or an underlying health condition, you are in a population identified by the CDC as being at higher risk of illness from COVID-19, and prior to the start of the season you decide that you prefer not to use your tickets for the 2020 season, we will refund your money and protect your seat location for the 2021 season.
In terms of a Flynn Fund gift; while we cannot offer a refund, we will ensure your donation is applied towards your tickets and parking as soon as we are able to offer full use of these benefits. It is more important now than ever that you continue your support of the Flynn Fund and all of our student-athletes.
Please be aware that we will honor a similar ticket refund policy as it pertains to our winter sports of men's and women's basketball, and men's hockey.
As always, we thank you for your continued support and we look forward to welcoming you back to the Heights soon. It is our promise to continue to communicate as gameday planning or changes are made.
