White and Lewis Nab Eagle of the Week Honors

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Boston College women's cross-country junior Lauren White (Woodbury, N.Y.) and football redshirt-junior wide receiver CJ Lewis (Hamden, Conn.) have been named the Eagles of the Week, presented by Musco Lighting. For White, this marks her third honor in six weeks.
White finished eighth overall at the ACC Championship in Cary, N.C. over the weekend. It was the highest individual finish by an Eagle since 2015. She clocked a 20:28.3 on the 6K course. As a team, Boston College finished ninth.
Lewis and the Eagles nearly upset No. 1 Clemson on the road on Saturday. Lewis set career-high in both receptions (5) and yards (66). He also scored his fourth touchdown of the season; an 18-yard score that gave BC a 28-10 lead late in the second quarter.
