Bike, Gill Earn Eagles of the Week Honors

Bike scored her second goal of the season and Gill posted his first career 100-yard game.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Boston College women's soccer forward Jenna Bike (Trumbull, Conn.) and football wide receiver Jaelen Gill (Westerville, Ohio) earned the latest Eagles of the Week honors, presented by Musco Lighting. Gill scored the Eagles' lone goal against No. 1 UNC over the weekend, while Gill posted a 100-yard receiving day at No. 23 Virginia Tech on Saturday night.
Bike cored in the 84th minute to end UNC/goalkeeper Claudia Dickey's shutout streak at 499 minutes. It was her second goal of the season and 12th of her career. She finished the game with two shots.
Gill caught six passes for a team-high 104 yards against the Hokies. He scored the Eagles' first touchdown of the night; a 12-yard catch-and-run that gave BC a 7-3 lead in the first quarter.
