Zay Flowers scored three touchdowns against Pitt at home, while Smith went on the road vs. the Panthers and came back with a goal and two assists.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Football wide receiver Zay Flowers (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) and women's soccer midfielder Sam Smith (Hanson, Mass.) claimed this week's Eagles of the Week honors presented by Musco Lighting.
Flowers lit up Pittsburgh for 162 yards and three touchdowns in a 31-30 win on Saturday night. He caught six passes, including touchdown receptions of 61, 77 and 25 yards. His final touchdown stood as the go-ahead score in overtime. Flowers' three touchdowns are tied for the BC single-game record.
Smith notched a game-tying goal in the 10th minute of action at Pitt on Thursday. She also tallied a pair of assists, which matched her career-high in points at four.
