Garner helped BC to a 1-1 tie against No. 1 Virginia, Carlin scored four goals in a win at BU

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Christian Garner and Margo Carlin have been named the Musco Lighting Eagles of the Week for their performances last week.

Garner helped the men's soccer team to a 1-0-1 week that featured a 1-1 tie with No. 1 Virginia in which Garner made a career-high nine saves. Earlier in the week, the sophomore posted his third shutout of the season with one save in BC's 3-0 win over Northeastern. The goalkeeper is 3-0-3 in his last six games.

Carlin scored four goals in the field hockey team's 5-0 win at Boston University on Sunday. The Drexel Hill, Pa. native has 15 goals on the year, which is a new BC freshman record. Carlin also ranks second in the ACC with her 15 goals and her 33 points.
