- Tyler Kertson (t42nd; 77-70=147) also made a big jump on day two, with a 2-under par score of 70. The graduate student was 1-under par on both the front and back nine's, making five birdies on his round. Kertson registered an opening day score of 77, with 13 pars on the afternoon. He is tied with Naumec with a team-best 23 pars over the 36 holes of play.
- Kevin Paek (t55th; 75-75=150) matched his opening round score with a 75 during Saturday's second round of play. The freshman was even through the front nine, with two birdies and two bogies. He has made a total of seven birdies and 18 pars so far in the tournament.
- Virginia's Thomas Walsh is the leader heading into the final round at 10-under with a two-day total of 132 (67-65)
