CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College football's Brandon Sebastian and women's hockey sophomore Daryl Watts have been named the Nissan Eagles of the Week following their performances this past weekend.

In the Eagles' 31-21 win over Virignia Tech on Saturday, Sebastian made the play of the game late in the third quarter of the tied tilt with his first career interception to give BC the ball at the Virginia Tech 19. The Eagles scored one play later to take the lead for good to earn the road win. The redshirt freshman added a career-best 10 tackles and was named the ACC Defensive Back of the Week. BC entered the game with 31 interceptions over the last two years, tied for the national lead.Â

Watts earned four points on three goals and one assist for the women's hockey team on the weekend and now has three consecutive multiple point games and five overall on the season. In BC's 3-0 win over UConn on Thursday, Watts scored the game-winning goal and then assisted on another. At Providence on Saturday in her 49th career game, Watts scored her 49th and 50th career goals to become the 14th player in program history to reach that mark and the fastest player in program history in the modern NCAA era.
