- Boston College finished in ninth place at the Health Plan Mountaineer Invitational. Teams 4-9 were separated by just 14 total strokes.
- Monday afternoon's second round was halted due to darkness with three holes to play was completed on Tuesday morning prior to the start of the final round.
- The Eagles compiled a team total score of 913 (301-296-307).
- Host West Virginia took the team title (866), followed by Davidson (877), Eastern Kentucky (889), James Madison (899), and Rutgers (900).
- Matt Naumec placed second (211), finishing one stroke behind the winner - WVU's Max Sear. Naumec bogeyed the 18th hole during Tuesday afternoon's final round. He was 5-under for the weekend and ranked among the tournament leaders in par 3 (3.00 avg/E), par 4 (3.93 avg/-2), and par 5 (4.75 avg/-3) scoring. Naumec posted 38 pars and 11 birdies during the 54 holes of play. His best round of the fall season came during the second round, as he fired a 5-under 67. Naumec opened with a 71 (-1) and closed out with a 73 (+1) in the first and final rounds, respectively.
- Christian Cavaliere finished in a tie for 35th place (229). The junior began tournament play with a pair of 76's on the scorecard after the first and second rounds. He carded a 77 during Tuesday's third and final round. Cavaliere tied for the second-most pars among the field, posting a total of 40 during the three days of competition.
- Mac Webster finished in a tie for 47th place (234). After opening with an 80 on Monday, the freshman carded scores of 76 and 78 during the second and third rounds of action. He shot par of 33 of the 54 holes on the weekend to go with four birdies. Â
- Brandon Kewalramani tied for 62nd place (239). After an opening round 83, he registered a score of 77 during the second round before closing with a 79 during the third round.
- Tyler Hatton tied for 77th place (252), recording scores of 83 in the first round, 82 during the second round, before closing out the weekend with a score of 87 on Tuesday.
- West Virginia's Max Sear edged Naumec for individual medalist honors, with a a 6-under total of 210. Davidson's Jack Lang (212) was third, while West Virginia's Etienne Papineau and Edvin Lindgren of Eastern Kentucky tied for fourth (215).
- The Eagles head to Duluth, Ga. from Oct. 15-16 for the Autotrader Collegiate Classic, hosted by Georgia State.
