Boudadi, Coffey Named Eagles of the Week

Pair honored for performances last week
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Sophomore Younes Boudadi (men's soccer) and freshman Sam Coffey (women's soccer) have been named Eagles of the Week for their performances last week.
Boudadi was named ACC Defensive Player of the Week on Monday as he started in both of the Eagles 4-0 shutouts against Quinnipiac and Boston University last weekend. The clean sheets marked the first consecutive shutouts for the program since 2014 and the first to open a season since 1978. Boudadi also chipped in offensively, recording three assists on the weekend including setting up both game-winning goals.
Coffey scored her first career goal and had three assists in the Eagles 5-1 win over Colgate on Sunday. She scored the first goal of the game and then set up three others, including two on corner kicks. Coffey became the third player in program history to post three assists in a match.
Men's soccer (2-0-0) will host New Hampshire on Friday at 4 p.m. and Xavier on Monday at 1 p.m. Women's soccer (2-2-0) is at Stony Brook on Thursday before hosting Northeastern on Sunday at 1 p.m.
