Casey, Weeks Named Eagles of the Week

Pair honored for performances last week
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Junior Donovan Casey (baseball) and senior Kate Weeks (lacrosse) have been named Eagles of the Week for their performances last week.
Casey picked up three wins in four appearances for the Eagles last week as they punched their ticket to the ACC Tournament for the second-straight year. The right-handed closer did not allow a run in 6.1 innings of work, giving up just three hits while striking out four. Casey collected a victory against Maine and two against Notre Dame. He also batted .375 in the four games with two RBIs.
Weeks had team highs with six assists, nine points and seven draw controls to lead BC to a 20-14 win against USC in the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals on Sunday. She also added three goals of her own. Her assists, points and draw control numbers were each career highs.

Baseball (25-26) opens the ACC Championship by facing NC State on Tuesday in Louisville. Lacrosse (16-6) will face Navy in the national semifinals on Friday night at Gillette Stadium.
