Pair honored for performances last week

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Freshman Ky Bowman (men's basketball) and senior Tess Chandler (lacrosse) have been named Eagles of the Week for their performances last week.

Bowman averaged 18.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists in a pair of games last week. He shot .583 (14-for-24) from the field and .750 (6-for-8) from long range. Bowman posted 18 points, seven rebounds and five assists against Wake Forest, hitting four of his five 3-point attempts. He then had 18 points and five rebounds against Louisville.

Chandler led the Eagles in their season-opening win at Holy Cross, recording team highs with five assists, eight points, six ground balls and four caused turnovers. She also added three goals in the 19-8 win. Her numbers in assists, points, ground balls and caused turnovers were all career highs.

Men's basketball travels to Atlanta to face Georgia Tech on Saturday. Lacrosse will be at Syracuse for its ACC opener on Saturday.
