CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College men's basketball team successfully carried the momentum from defeating then No. 1 Duke into the following week as they dominated both Columbia and Central Connecticut State to remain a perfect 7-0 at home.
Junior Jerome Robinson led the team with 21 points and the Eagles won the battle of the boards, 45-28, to secure an 81-66 win over the Lions on Tuesday night at Conte Forum.
Sophomore Ky Bowman recorded his second straight double-double, scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds in the victory.
The Eagles won their fourth straight game as they beat Central Connecticut, 84-65, at Conte Forum on Sunday afternoon.
After a slow defensive start in the first half, BC scored 21 of the initial 25 points in the second half to take control of the game.
Freshman Steffon Mitchell recorded his first collegiate double-double in the victory, finishing the game with 13 points and a season-best 14 rebounds.
The men's basketball team continues its home stand when it hosts Richmond on Saturday, Dec. 23 in a non-conference matchup at Conte Forum. Â
