Kelly Named Interim Assistant Swim Coach

Boston College swim team added new interim assistant coach Dan Kelly as announced by interim head coach Michael Stephens.
Kelly, a 2016 graduate of Boston College, was the 2016 Senior Male Scholar Athlete of the Year and was a four-time Athletic Director's Academic Achievement Award honoree. He was also an NCAA Academic All-American.
The team captain in 2016, Kelly holds eight Boston College swim records and was the 2016 team MVP. Kelly was a 2016 Olympic Trial qualifier in the 50 freestyle and placed 48th at the 2014 US National Swimming Championship in the event.
A native of Illinois, Kelly was also a member of the men's club water polo team. He helped the team placed fourth in 2014 club water polo National Tournament and was a CWPA All-American first team selection.
