#ThrowbackThursday: Aja Parham
July 21, 2016 | Boston College Athletics, Women's Basketball
Parham checks in a decade after she left The Heights
Name: Aja ParhamÂ
Sport Played: Women's Basketball
Year Graduated: 2006
Current Profession: Founder of SportsMindset, a sports performance training company that develop athletes physical and mental strength. I'm also currently living and playing professionally basketball in Australia.Â
Best Memory of BC: Overall, when I reflect on my four years at BC, the best memories were the nights spent in the dorm rooms with teammates and friends. The dance parties, dress-up contests and movie nights. Simple, but certainly the most fun!Â
Favorite Memory as a Women's Basketball Player: Winning the Big East Championship. We had a very successful team during my four years. We made three Sweet 16 appearances in the NCAA tournament, but that was our only championship!Â
Advice for Current Student-Athletes:Â Step out of your comfort zone and make the most out of your time at Boston College by becoming involved with activities and people outside of just your teammates and other athletes.Â
