Mannelly, Winslow Named Eagles of the Week

Pair honored for performances last week
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Senior midfielder Sarah Mannelly (lacrosse) and graduate student Danielle Winslow (track & field) have been named Eagles of the Week.
Mannelly totaled 14 points in a span of two games, notching two goals and a career-high five assists in the team's 14-9 win over Dartmouth last Tuesday and then recording five goals and two assists in the Eagles victory against Virginia Tech on Saturday. Mannelly moved up in the records books in a few categories last week, moving into fourth all-time in goals (166) and assists (70), and seventh in draw controls (108).
Winslow qualified for the Olympic trials in the 3000m steeplechase this past weekend at the Ocean State Invitational. Her time of 9:48.81 broke the Boston College record by 17 seconds and cleared the Olympic trial qualifying mark by four seconds. It ranks as the seventh-best time in the world this year, third in the United States, second in the NCAA, and is the best in the ACC.

Lacrosse (9-6, 2-5 ACC) is at Harvard on Wednesday and hosts Johns Hopkins on Saturday at 1 p.m. in the regular season finale. Women's track and field will compete at the Larry Ellis Invitational this weekend at Princeton.
