Burke, Kennedy Named Eagles of the Week

Pair honored for performances last week

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Sophomore Sean Burke and junior Isabelle Kennedy have been named Eagles of the Week for earning spots in the upcoming NCAA Cross Country Championship.

Burke finished in eighth place overall at the NCAA Northeast Regional with a time of 30:45.73, showing tremendous improvement from his 86^th-place finish at the same race a year ago. Burke earned all-region honors and will run in the NCAA Championship on Saturday.

Kennedy finished third overall with a time of 20:18.98 at the NCAA Northeast Regional, also earning all-region accolades and a spot at the NCAA Championship in Terre Haute, Indiana on Saturday.
