Many Eagles will walk through the tunnel of Alumni Stadium for the final time
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College football hosts its final home game of the 2016 season on Saturday, Nov. 19 against regional-rival Connecticut at 1 p.m. It will be the final time a group of Eagles attend Mass at St. Mary's, walk down the Higgins Stairs and Campenella Way for the Eagles Walk, get dressed in the BC home locker room and touch the golden eagle as they run through the home tunnel onto the turf field of Alumni Stadium.
Senior Day elicits many emotions for student-athlete playing on their home field for the final time. It is extra meaning for the Eagles, as they look to stay in the hunt for a bowl bid.
Senior captains John Johnson, Tyler Rouse and Myles Willis spoke about senior day, their four-year BC careers and what they will miss the most about playing collegiate football.
