Football looks to snap their current losing streak, while soccer alumni take the pitch together.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Football: With the week to rest, Boston College will finally take the field again to host their ACC rival, Syracuse, on Saturday. With losing 11 straight ACC games looming over their heads, the Eagles will have a chance to snap that streak as they go into the game against the Orange as the favorite.
Coming off the bye week, the Eagles will be starting the second half of their season essentially 0-0 as the first half led them to a 3-3 record. To finish off the season, Boston College will look at each game as a must win.
Tied with last year for wins already, one more win will mark a successful season compared to last year, but bowl chances remain alive, as a repeat of the first half of this year will make them bowl eligible.
Alumni: considering each other family, former BC soccer stars Alejandro Bedoya and Charlie Davies are now able to find a new home in Philadelphia as they are now teammates for the Union
