Athletic Department Comes Together for Area Children

Dec. 23, 2014 Most college students welcome distractions from studying for finals, but for Boston College student-athletes, they had a very special distraction last week.

Student-athletes from all 31 sports, coaches and athletic department staff participated in the annual BC Athletics Adopt-a-Child wrapping party. Working with area non-profits, the department sponsored more than 50 children to provide them with various needs and wants at this special time of year.

With the shopping completed, last week everyone came together to wrap the presents, spread a little holiday cheer and even sing a little Christmas karaoke.
