Men's XC Competes at ACC Championships

Earlysville, Va. – Boston College men’s cross country traveled to the University of Virginia Friday, Oct. 31 to compete in the Atlantic Coast Conference Cross Country Championships.
Senior James Newhouse was the first finisher for the Eagles in the men's 8k, crossing the line at 25:09.8. Sophomore James Zingarini finished after Newhouse at 25:24.5. Rounding out the top five finishers were senior Richard Lucas, who crossed the line at 25:50.1, sophomore Brian McDavitt, who finished at 26:15, and junior Nicholas Denari, who finished at 26:19.
Other BC finishers included freshman Daniel Moverman (26:21.7), sophomore Tyler Hanson (26:26), freshman Joseph Yuengert (26:47.6), and junior Richard Moschella (27:14.2).
Overall, Boston College finished 14th as a team with a score of 435.
BC men’s cross country is back in action on Nov. 14 for the NCAA Northeast Regionals in New York.
