Eagles Win Third Meet in a Row

Bridgewater State University hosted Boston College this weekend where the Eagles took their third consecutive victory of the season.
The 200 yd. Medley Relay `A' team of Caroline Quindlen, Alexandria Popera, Lizzie Mangone and Kimberly Rich took first place with 1:54.23 and the `B' team of Anne MacKay, Bailey Brown, Danielle Homere and Katie Vanasse came in second with 1:55.06. Sophomore Kelly Ward performed well this weekend taking first place in the 50 yd. Freestyle with 26.19 and first in the 100 yd. Freestyle with 55.76. Freshman Danielle Homere won the 100 yd. Butterfly with a remarkable time of 59.97.
Overall, Boston College beat Bridgewater State 170 to 108. Outstanding performance recognition was awarded to Homere and to Kelsey Hawthorne '17 for her 500 yd. Freestyle.
This upcoming weekend BC will compete in Baltimore, Maryland in the Thomas Murphy Invitational Meet.
