Tennis Falls In All-American Qualifying Draw

Qualifying Singles Bracket | Qualifying Doubles Bracket
Pacific Palisades, Calif. - Women's tennis competed yesterday in the Qualifying Singles and Doubles Draws of the Riviera/ITA All-American Championships.
Freshman Assiya Dair, who advanced through three rounds of the Pre-Qualifying Draw was defeated by Quinn Gleason of Notre Dame in the first Qualifying round, 0-6, 6-3, 6-2. Georgiana Patrasc of Mississippi State took down senior Eagle Jessica Wacnik, 6-1, 6-2. Wacnik was chosen as an alternate for the Qualifier Draw after going 2-1 in the Pre-Qualifying Round.
Sophomore Lexi Borr was defeated by Rachel Pierson from Texas A&M in two games, 6-1, 6-1. Borr advanced to the Qualifying Round by sweeping the Pre-Qualifying Round on Saturday.
In the Qualfying Doubles First Round Jessica Wacnik and Lexi Borr were taken down by Wichita State's Kovalova/Pedrazzi in a hard fought 6-2, 5-7, 10-7 battle.
The Boston College women's tennis team will be back in action on Friday at the Princeton Invitational.
