PHILADELPHIA – The Boston College men’s track and field team wrapped up its showing at the historic Penn Relays Carnival with a 3:18.66 in the 4x400-meter relay at Franklin Field on Friday afternoon.
The Eagles enlisted senior Brian Smith and sophomores Connor O’Neill, Jack Hennessy and Kellen MacDonald for the fourth section of the event.
In Friday’s 5,000-meter men’s Olympic Development race, junior Louis Serafini lowered his season-best to 14:43.76. The Niskayuna, N.Y. product took 14th in the field, with assistant coach Dave Emerson immediately behind in 15th at 14:45.91.
