W. Swimming Defeats Keene State

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Both the men's and women's swimming and diving teams picked up victories over Keene State on Sunday. The men won 157-129 and the women notched their victory with a score of 168-128.
Sophomore Nick Henze and senior Marty Long were named Outstanding Performers for the meet. Henze took first in both the 200 and 100 yard freestyle with time of 1:43.57 and 47.95, respectively, while his 200 yard freestyle relay team recorded the fastest time (1:26.43). Long took first in both the one meter dive (283.80) and the three meter dive (294.23).
Freshman Daniel Kelly and sophomore Joe Costa had the Outstanding Performances of the meet. Kelly won the 50 yard freestyle (21.46) and Costa took first in the 200 yard butterfly (1:58.49).
For the women, sophomore Dana Hadra was the Outstanding Performer of the meet as she won the one meter dive (222.00) and the three meter dive (243.00).
The Outstanding Performances of the meter were by senior Caitlin Molloy, who took first in the 500 yard freestyle (5:17.51), and freshman Jordan Parry, who had the fastest time in the 100 yard butterfly (59.41).
The Eagles will return to action November 16 for the Terrier Invitational at Boston University.
