M. Swimming & Diving Earns CSCAA Scholar Honors

Evanston, Ill. – The Boston College men’s swimming and diving team achieved Scholar All-American status as announced by College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) President Mark Bernardino on July 20.
The Eagles tabulated a cumulative 3.40 grade point average – second highest in country – for the spring semester to earn the accolade. To be eligible, programs must carry a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
At the All Sports Banquet this past May, Head Coach Tom Groden saw more than 35 student-athletes decorated with the Athletics Director’s Award for Academic Achievement – an award recognizing individuals carrying GPAs at or above 3.0.
