DiLoreto Elected President of NACMA

Cleveland – Boston College Associate Athletics Director for External Operations Jamie DiLoreto was elected president of the National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) at the 20th annual convention held in Orlando World Center Marriot Resort on June 30. DiLoreto relieves Kurt Esser, associate athletic director for external affairs at the University of New Mexico, for the 2011-12 term.
“NACMA is coming off of another great Convention where we launched the Online Library presented by Old Hat, along with an iphone app, designed by row27,” DiLoreto said. “In the next year, NACMA will look to continue to explore and expand upon the various technology initiatives that become available.”
Joining DiLoreto as officers are first Vice President Greg Herring, director of marketing and assistant visiting professor at York College of Pennsylvania, second Vice President/Secretary Craig Pintens, assistant athletics director – marketing & promotions at Louisiana State University, and third Vice President/Treasurer Eric Nichols, director of marketing at the University of South Carolina.
The 2011-12 Board of Directors also welcomes four new members. They are Megan Allen, assistant athletics director for external operations/SWA at Texas A&M Corpus Christi, Matt Beckman, director of marketing at Gonzaga University; Brian Hicks, assistant athletics director for marketing at Xavier University, and Amber Radzevich, associate athletics director for marketing and communications, University of New Hampshire.
The advisor to the Association’s Officers and Board of Directors will be Tracie Hitz, a former board member and current CMO at Old Hat Creative.
