CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College men's swimming and diving team defeated the Maine Black Bears, 187-102, on Friday, Nov. 4.
Marty Long was named the Eagles' Outstanding Performer of the meet. Long placed first in the One-Meter Dive, with a score of 310.35, a new meet record. He also took first in the Three-Meter Dive, earning a score of 290.40.
Connor Stickney and Alex Rudolph turned in the meet's Outstanding Performances in the 100-Yard Backstroke and 200-Yard Breaststroke, respectively. Stickney set a meet record with a time of 53.88, taking first in the 100 Back. He also earned first in the 200 Back and helped the Eagles take first place in the 200-Yard Medley Relay, along with Sean Murphy, Timothy Corrigan and Collin Thilo.
Rudolph finished first in the 200-Yard Breaststroke with a time of 2:12.43. He also turned in a second place finish in the 100 Breast with a time of 1:01.27.
The Eagles return to action on Nov. 18 when they compete at the Terrier Invite hosted by Boston University.
