W. Swimming Falls to Northeastern and Houston

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College women's swimming and diving team finished third out of three teams in a multi-meet on Saturday afternoon in the first meet hosted by the Eagles this season. BC fell to Houston, 231-69, as well as to Northeastern, 225-75.
Stephanie Ng and Annie Fothergill turned in the team's Outstanding Performances at the meet, in the 200 Backstroke and 100 Butterfly, respectively. Ng took second in the 200 Back with a time of 2:10.24, while Fothergill, a freshman on the swim team, finished fourth in the 100 Fly in a time of 1:00.36.
Ng also finished fourth in the 200-yard Butterfly and contributed to the Eagles' fifth place finish in the 200-yard Medley Relay.
Boston College returns to action on Friday, Oct. 21 at 7 p.m. when the squad hosts the NE Catholic Invite.
