Looking Back
Last time these two teams met Northeastern took home a 7-4 victory. BC scored first and despite a quick response from Northeastern, the Eagles held on to fight a back and forth battle that finally fell away from them in the third period as Northeastern tied up the game and went on to tally three more for the definitive win.
Kiera Kingston stopped 26 shots on goal in the loss.
Last Time Out
The Eagles defeated Connecticut 3-0 on Sunday, October 31 in BC's season home game of the season. A goal in each period secured the BC's sixth win and goaltender Molly Schaus' 20th career shutout.
Kelli Stack had a hand in all three goals, scoring a shorthanded goal in the first period before assisting on Blake Bolden and Danielle Welch's goals. The Eagles played at Connecticut on Saturday, October 30 and skated to a 2-2 tie after goals from Kelli Stack and Melissa Bizzari caught up to the Huskies' 2-0 lead and forced an overtime period.
Hot in Hockey East
Already this season the Eagles have earned five Hockey East awards and been named WHEA Team of the Week twice.
Freshman Taylor Wasylk opened the awards season with three consecutive Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week awards in October, a first in BC women's hockey history.
On Monday Kelli Stack was the second Eagle to be honored with Pure Hockey Player of the Week honors after recording three goals and two assists in a weekend series against league opponent Connecticut.
On Tuesday the league announced Stack was October's Pure Hockey Player of the Month after finishing the first month of play 15-9-6 to lead the team in points and goals. She ranks first in six different league categories, including points and goals, and ranks second in assists.
Schaus Stopping Shots
