Swimming and Diving Compete at Army in Multi Meet

WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Boston College swimming and diving team faced four opponents in a multi meet at Army on Saturday, October 9 and came out of the meet with a mixed bag of results. The men's team defeated Stony Brook but lost to Army (184-102) and Seattle. The women's team tallied two wins against Army (164-139) and Stony Brook (166-134) but fell to Vermont (174-126).
The Eagles had six first-place finishes on the day: Marty Long (1 meter Diving - 227.90, and 3 meter Diving - 264.60); Lauren Nightingale (100 Yard Freestyle - 53.89); John Maloy (500 Yard Freestyle - 4:42.69, and 200 Yard Individual Medley - 1:55.70); and the Women's 400 YARD Freestyle Relay with 3:37.34 (Lauren Nightingale, Patricia Kautz, MacKenzie Campbell, and Lia Breunig).
