CORAL GABLES, Fla. - The Boston College men's track and field team opened competition at the 2009 ACC Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Thursday held at Cobb Stadium at the University of Miami.
Senior Timothy Ritchie earned a pair of points for the Eagles when he finished in seventh in the 10,000m with a time of 31:24.50. Sophomore Mathew Kosmas added another point as he finished eighth in the hammer throw with a toss of 49.75m.
Men's action resumes at Cobb Stadium on Friday at 11 a.m.
