Boston College Director of Athletics Gene DeFilippo has announced that Carly Pariseau has been promoted to the position of Associate Athletics Director/Compliance. She replaces Jerome Rodgers, who resigned last month to accept a position at Northern Kentucky University.
"Carly has shown an unwavering commitment to our department's goal of ensuring complete compliance with all NCAA rules and regulations," DeFilippo said. "We are extremely fortunate to have her on our staff."
"I am obviously very excited and honored about this opportunity," Pariseau said. "I share Boston College's commitment to making our student-athletes the top priority."
Pariseau is entering her fifth year at Boston College. Previously she served as Assistant Athletics Director/Compliance and Recruiting.
Pariseau arrived at Boston College after a year stint as a compliance coordinator at Ohio University. Prior to her work at Ohio, she was at Minnesota State University, Mankato as an assistant compliance coordinator, administrative assistant and assistant volleyball coach from 1998 to 2004.
A 1996 graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College, Pariseau received her master's degree in human performance from Minnesota State University in 2002. Pariseau is also a certified volleyball official and current chair of the NCAA Women's Volleyball Rules Committee. She played volleyball at West Virginia Wesleyan College and also coached at the University of North Alabama and Montevallo University.
