Women's Swimming and Diving Ties Vermont

The Boston College women's swimming and diving team tied Vermont on Sunday at the Flynn Recreation Complex Pool. The Eagles earned the tie with 150 points, matching Vermont's event wins with their depth.
With the tie, the Eagles' dual meet record now stands at 5-3-1 on the season.
Leading the way for BC were the divers, who registered 30 points in the one and three meter events.
Devon Kelly took first place on the one meter board, scoring a 217.50. Bridget O'Brien won the three meter event with a score of 234.80, edging Kelly by .45.
In other events, Caroline Byron recorded a win in the 50 freestyle (24.81) her second win in the event so far this season.
The 400 freestyle relay team of Lauren Nightingale, Lia Breunig, Patricia Kautz, and Caroline Byron also won for the Eagles, finishing in 3:35.84.
Boston College will next partake in the Terrier Invitational at Boston University, beginning on Nov. 21.
